Cloud Computing in practice
The solutions based on cloud model are discussed for a long time - what are the real barriers to their implementation? Call for cost reduction is still valid – is it possible to break users distrust in government? What is better solution for public administration: cloud services or cloud-based repositories and computational capacities? Do we have legislation for such solutions? Which possibilities and limits of funding of cloud solutions are associated with OPIS? Is the current political situation unique opportunity for the implementation of cloud solutions? The panel will be devoted to current global trends and opportunities for Slovakia.

Education and ICT industry
In Slovakia, the matter of better interconnection between education and practice is an obligatory part of rhetoric of each minister of education, minister of economy and minister of finance. How such interconnection works in the field of information technologies? Have the successful examples of functioning symbiosis of IT industry, education institutions, state institutions and self-government bodies been created thanks to the Slovak environment and conditions or in spite of them? According to statistics, the lowest number of unemployed graduates is among IT students. Does that mean that the needs of companies have been sufficiently covered? If not, do we miss the quantity or quality or both of them?

Managing finances - taxes, duties, levies
The basis for good functioning of the state is effectively managing finances on side of revenue and expenditure of the budget. The current system of tax, duties and levies creates a heavy burden on businesses and the government and its complexity has resulted in a high percentage of losses in taxes and duties. Despite of some improvements and simplifications there is still need for communication with several institutions, of which every has its own procedures, forms, and bank accounts. The panel will present projects that aim to unify a significant simplification of tax, duties and levies.
