Perhaps no one doubts that information and communication technologies are a major phenomenon of the current economy. There are more and more people in the digital space, expectations and opportunities expand from year to year.
There are company informatization programs with the aim of gradually moving to the maximum use of information and communication technologies in all areas of social, political and economic life. Informatisation of the public administration was the impetus that stood at the birth of the project.
The lessons learned from the projects that arose in the church at the end of the 90s and the concepts from 2005-10, ecclesia.sk bring a new systematic and coordinated approach to the solution of the process of informatization of the Catholic Church's processes in Slovakia.

We have begun to seriously implement the electronization of the Catholic Church processes in 2008. Information security and personal data protection has been one of the most important aspects of the evolved solutions.
The presented state of the privacy solution in the Archdiocese of Bratislava reflects not only the fulfillment of our intentions in the context of the current wording of the personal data protection legislation, but also steps ensuring compatibility with the GDPR.

Documents are your knowledge, documents are your wealth, documents need to be searched, and documents also need your protection. With the coming GDPR effectiveness, these needs are growing. You need to know how and to what extent you work with personal data, whether employees or customers, who and from where they have access, how they work with documents.
Another, increasingly important topic is documents coming from state administration within the electronic mailbox system.
The DMS system must meet all of the above-mentioned needs, not only for the purposes of recording, but also for the processing and long-term storage of electronic originals. DMS secures the entire life cycle of a document, from its creation to archiving and shredding.
